SM Technology and Policy Program (TPP)
The Master’s Program in Technology and Policy (TPP) educates leaders to inform effective policies for important technological issues confronting society. The two-year master’s program is a part of the Institute for Data, Systems, and Society in the MIT Schwarzman College of Computing.
The curriculum of the Program provides analytical skills and promotes the capacity to understand conflicting values, develop constituencies, and negotiate solutions. Student’s coursework and research during their time in the program culminates in a required master’s thesis. Tuition and stipends for accepted students are generally supported by research assistantships.
